OPENING HOURS & RATES

The Château de Bizy welcomes you every day from April 1st to November 3th 2024 from 10am to 6pm. Except Mondays.

The Château can only be visited with a guided tour at 10.30am, 11.15 am, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm

All the tours are in french. However, all the guides speak English and can answer all your questions during the tour. At the beginning of the tour, we will give you the full text of the tour in English, German, Italian, Spanish or French. If the tour is only made up of foreigners speaking English, it can be in English.

The Chateau and its grounds are open on all public holidays (including Mondays).

It is essential for groups (15 people and more) to reserve prior to their arrival and to make the visite in English.

By train : the chateau is located25 minutes away by foot from the train station of Vernon-Giverny. This station is served by the train line between Paris and Rouen.

By bus : the chateau doesn't have a specific bus stop. However, we advise you to get off at the stops "Sente du bon Dieu" or "Montgomery" that are situated between 10 ans 15 minutes away by foot. Those stops served by the line n° 1 of the bus Vernon St Adjutor > Republique and it also stops at the train station Vernon-Giverny. Check the bus SNGO timetable for mor information , here.

By bike: we offer a bike parking, not sheltered. we can recaharge the batteries of electric bikes that can be plugged on a classic electrical outlet.

By foot: the only entrance is situated on the Avenue Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny .The chateau is located 35 minutes away from the center of Vernon and 25 minutess away from the train station.

WARNING. The GPS indicates an entrance Rue de Bizy but is not accessible. From the station train you have to go up by the Rue de Bizy, then join the Avenue des Capucins and go up by the Avenue Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny to reach the entrance.

By car (and autocar): The chateau of Bizy offers a car park directly on the domain and including two places disasbles.

The chateau is located 3 km away frome the highway A13, exit n°16.

For electric car, the closet recharge stations are 1 km away from tha chateau at the supermarket Carrefour Vernon (Bvd Isambard 27200 Vernon) or the E.Leclerc (Bvd Jean Jaurès 27200 Vernon) 2 km away frome the castle.
